Former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has said the last few days have been "obviously difficult" after the arrest of her husband, the SNP's ex-chief executive.
Peter Murrell was arrested in connection with an investigation into the funding and finances of the party on Wednesday, April 5.Speaking outside her home near Glasgow, today, Sturgeon said in a brief statement that she understands “the scrutiny that comes on me as a public figure”, adding that she intends to “get on with life and my job as you would expect”.READ NEXT:
