Nick Diaz eyes fight against UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman
Diaz is a legend in the sport, but with his 39th birthday in August, the Stockton hero’s best days are likely behind him.Still, Diaz says this is a fight he can actually get motivated for and not for the first time, he’s calling for a fight with Usman.when asked when his next UFC fight will be.
“It’s just not motivating to fight somebody that’s – I want to fight for the title. I’m 38 years old.” Other than that, he fought Anderson Silva at middleweight in 2015 and then Robbie Lawler last year. Diaz has had just four fights and no victories in the past 11 years.
