As we count down the days to the Easter weekend, the Met Office isn't advising to put away the jackets just yet.
With the changing of the clocks last month, summer is on the horizon, but Northern Ireland's weather forecast remains dominated by rain and low temperatures. This week, not much sun is forecast for the region. A Met Office spokesperson says by mid-April, there is a chance of "a period of more unsettled conditions bringing spells of wetter and windier weather more widely" for the UK.Here's the full forecast for Northern Ireland this week, April 3:Early mist patches clearing then dry with bright spells but any sunshine will be rather hazy. Very mild in the west but cooler in east with fresh southerly winds. Maximum temperature 13C.
Outbreaks of rain on Wednesday, heavy at times around lunch time and in the evening. Maximum temperature 12C.Cloudy changing to light rain by late morning. A few showers forecast for Thursday.
