Have you ever spotted anything paranormal on a visit?
Halloween brings out many people's interest in the paranormal, the haunted and the undead - and Northern Ireland has plenty of freaky spots and ghostly history to explore.
Crumlin Road Gaol was built to house the city’s criminals back in 1845 and was a working prison until 1996. Since then it has opened as a visitor attraction and has many visitors - both from this world and of the other. They said: "As we enter the eerie season of spookiness, searches for ‘top 10 most haunted places in the world’ have surged by +129% over the past 30 days, showcasing that a growing number of thrill-seekers and ghost hunters are planning their spooky adventures in the upcoming month.
They continued: "Belfast’s Crumlin Road Gaol has 153 mentions of ‘spooky’, and a Tripadvisor score of 4.5. In use between 1846-1996, it opened up again in 2012 for tourists to explore the hanging cell, graveyard, hospital, and tunnels the inmates used to use.
