NFL coaching staffs have received the green light to resume work at their team headquarters beginning Friday.

In a memo issued to teams, commissioner Roger Goodell instructed that as long as the return to work coincides with local governments’ coronavirus measures, then teams can get back to work. Until now, coaches had to continue working from home, and only non-football staff members or trainers and rehabbing players were allowed to be at facilities.

The memo advised that any coaches or staff members who are at higher medical risk should communicate with their team's medical staff for direction. The league and teams will develop a plan for COVID-19 testing of staff members. There’s still no set date for when healthy players will be allowed to return to their team headquarters.
