In a press release, the companies stated the deal would be for"non-simulation football game experiences," signaling that Electronic Arts' Madden franchise will remain the league's exclusive main football title. 2K is currently in early development for multiple projects with the earliest launching in 2021 during Take-Two's fiscal year, which begins in April.
