Suspected spyware targeting Downing Street and the death of Cristiano Ronaldo's son lead the papers.
Several newspapers are reporting on a suspected spyware hack of a phone linked to No 10. The Daily Mail explains the Pegasus software allegedly introduced by "foreign spies" can access and control phones remotely, including turning on the device's recording software. It adds phones linked to the Foreign Office appear to have been similarly targeted five times.The Guardian reports that Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been warned of the suspected attack on No 10.
The paper reports he will address the Commons in a "desperate bid" to move on from the Partygate row, quoting one relative of a person who died of Covid as saying: "If he wants us to move on he should move from office."The Queen is set to invite the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to join her for the upcoming Jubilee celebrations, the Daily Express reports.
