Kalvin Phillips admitted during the international break that he is considering his Manchester City future and Newcastle are said to be one of several interested sides.
Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson has suggested Kalvin Phillips should leave Manchester City on loan amid growing uncertainty over the midfielder's future.
Speaking while away on international duty with England, Phillips suggested he was considering his future at City amid a lack of minutes. "I think it all depends on the individual and what they want," Wilson told the Footballer's Football Podcast. "If you stay at Man City you finish your career with numerous trophies. If that is something that appeals to you, then great. But he is still so young though, and he is a top player, and he’ll feel he can contribute to that City squad.
