Arena Health & Fitness UK Ltd, the owners of Newark's longest running independent gym, are set to open a second location in Collingham. The new facility will be ready by January 2024 and will offer a range of equipment and workout areas. The owners have received positive feedback from their current members and are excited about the expansion.
The owners of Newark's longest running independent gym are set to open a second location in a nearby village. Arena Health & Fitness UK Ltd has been running in the town for more than 35 years, and moved from their original site on Appleton Gate to their current site at Warwick Brewery in 2019.
"There will be a designated stretch/core workout area and a 10m gym track." They added: "The facility at Warwick Brewery is thriving and we have an extremely loyal membership base who believe in what we are doing and love what we have to offer. "This includes the surrounding villages of Witham St Hughs, South and North Scarle, etc, etc. We feel this will save a lot of people travelling saving them time and money."
"It’s been amazing we can’t thank everyone enough." Managing director for the Gusto Group, Sean Conway, is also excited about the gym. "We believe that a healthier community is a stronger community. The gym and fitness classes are due to open in early 2024 and more information will be given soon.”
