‘The Bistro at Storrs Hall’ has been designed to make the most of the hotel’s iconic lakeside location on Windermere and is situated on the ground floor of its Victorian wing, facing South over the lake.
Enjoying a lovely meal with family or friends while overlooking Windermere has become more of a reality through the opening of a new waterfront bistro.
The new dining space, set in what was formerly the kitchens, is relaxed, cosy and intimate, with soft blue walls, contemporary lighting and striking artwork – plus views over the water. The new bistro will offer a French-inspired menu and is open seven days a week.Visitors will be able to choose from grilled queenie scallops, twice baked cheddar and truffle souffle as well as lots of different main meals like steak with garlic buttle and a French bistro salad.
Andy Nicholson, General Manager for Storrs Hall said: “We’re over the moon to announce that The Bistro at Storrs Hall is now open – it has been a huge amount of work relocating the kitchens and creating this new dining space, but it’s been worth it. We now have brand new energy efficient, state of the art kitchens and a beautiful new dining experience for our guests.
