'Prison Break' is getting a reboot from 'Mayans M.C.' creator, Elgin James who will pen the series set in the same world as the five-season hit drama.
EW can confirm that Hulu is developing a new series based on the beloved Fox drama. The reboot, which comes from, will not follow the characters of the original saga but is set in the same world. James is penning the show and will executive produce alongsideas his brother, who hatches a plan to break him out of prison. A ratings juggernaut, the series picked up a Golden Globe for best television series drama in its debut season.
He continued, "No more Michael. If you were a fan of the show, hoping for additional seasons... I understand this is disappointing. I'm sorry."
