Feast at The Mills is the newest venue to come to this Greater Manchester borough
A buzzing event at the launch of Wigan’s Mackie Mayor style food hall quite literally gave locals a taste of what is to come.

Heaton Group, the developer, wanted to give Wiganers a sample of their intentions for the area with this brand new outdoor venue - which is now open to the public.
The electric atmosphere at the event on Thursday night was shrouded in a sense of excitement amongst locals - who were clearly pleased with a completely unique offering for the area. One said: “You would expect something like this in Manchester” while another added: “This is great for Wigan”. “We have the planning permission now and we are off building it, but Feast at The Mills is the first phase of a 10 year plan. This is just to let the people of Wigan know that this is here and there is something happening and get them down here.
