A new kind of Lexus is looming: meet the first shadowy, teaser pics of the new Lexus LBX – a baby crossover akin to the Yaris Cross in a posh frock?
Lexus has announced an all-new model is to join its range: LBX. The new model is to be revealed on 5 June 2023. And that’s about all we know, officially, about the new model.
However, the images and name provide a little context as for what to expect. The darkened silhouette of the rear lights looks almost like a crossover SUV, with some of Lexus’ design details seen in the image of the front headlight. We can speculate about the name, too; L likely stands for Lexus, B likely points to the B-segment market and X again implies it’s an SUV – or something akin to one. Here, Lexus is very likely building something akin to theIt’s a market segment Lexus currently isn’t in, and is likely attracted to joining given the prevalence and success of baby crossovers.
