'We fill a gap when people are struggling to find the right prices'
Staff at a new jewellery shop in Nottingham are hoping it will 'shine' as a cost-effective alternative for shoppers seeking accessories. Grace & Co opened a new store in St Peter's Gate on September 30, making it the company's 11th in the country.
"There's risk with any city centre store, especially after Covid," said the 40-year-old. "People want jewellery but they are going to want somewhere that has value for money. So this is where we can shine."We fill a gap when people are struggling to find the right prices. We provide people with a cost effective alternative. We have a lot of mid-ranged price items and brands that are totally customisable and aren't going to break the bank.
"I like to think we do everything differently. We want to develop a relationship with customers that keeps them coming back. We got to know people in Beeston, we know the names of every single dog and we know the family history and ailments of everyone."
