Google’s next-gen mid-range smartphone, could pack a surprisingly huge camera upgrade.
Wojciechowski also expects the Pixel 7a to come with a 90Hz Samsung-built 1080p display. That outpaces the 60Hz display of the current Pixel 6a by offering the same smooth frame rate found on the Pixel 7.
No information has been provided on the screen size or aspect ratio, however “1080p” is usually assumed to define a 16:9 display. This would mark a departure from the taller 20:9 FHD+ displays of the Pixel 6a and Pixel 7, possibly hinting at a more compact Pixel 7a.
If these specs turn out to be true, the Pixel 7a will be very tough to beat at its expected price of around $449.
