Green Lantern Alan Scott Helps Jadestone See the Light This summer, DC Comics will begin its newest crossover, Absolute Power. The event sees Amanda Waller taking her crusade against the DC Universe’s metahumans out into the open. By partnering with her allies in the Trinity of Evil, Failsafe and the Brainiac Queen, Waller is going to steal the powers of every single hero and villain on Earth.
How Waller Gained Jadestone and Other Task Force VII Members Close At the end of Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths, Amanda Waller consulted with the Council of Light . Postulating that metahumans were the root cause of the Earth’s problems, Waller suggested mass imprisonment for anyone with powers. The Light, however, encouraged eliminating metahumans altogether and gave Waller all the resources she needed to start her mission.
By absorbing Alan Scott’s power, Jadestone is gaining something that sets it apart from the rest of its teammates in Task Force VII...
