NUPAS - which already has a site on Lever Street - wants to open on Newton Street
A new abortion clinic is set to come to the Northern Quarter this summer, the latest planning documents show.
NUPAS currently operates across England, and it has five sites across Greater Manchester. They include another city centre location on Lever Street, and in Bolton, Bury, Stockport, and Oldham. “We are applying for change of use [of the premises] to enable us to provide the following services,” Aaron Flaherty, NUPAS’ chief executive, told the Manchester Evening News . “Consultation in relation to unplanned pregnancy, early medical termination of pregnancy, sexual health screening, and provision of all forms of contraception.
