Netflix Barton Cowperthwaite has been told he needs surgery for a brain tumour Netflix star Barton Cowperthwaite has shared his diagnosis of a ‘decent-sized’ brain tumour, aged just 31. The actor and dancer is best known for appearing in ballet Tiny Pretty Things, in which he played Oren Lennox. This weekend, Barton shared the devastating news that he had been diagnosed with ‘at least a stage 2 glioma.’ A glioma is ‘a malignant tumour of the glial tissue of the nervous system.
Fellow Thing Pretty Things star Brennan Clost wrote: ‘Oh Barty, I’m so sorry to hear this. Sending you so much love ❤️❤️❤️ you’ve got this!!!’ Actress Casimere Jollette added: ‘Love you Bart ❤️ sending so much healing to you. You got this.’ In a later update, Barton shared a video and began with: ‘I’d like to start off by just saying thank you from the bottom of my heart.
