Netflix users have been left divided after the streaming platform issued a post about its cheapest subscription plan, which costs £4.99 a month - totalling £59.88 a year
Netflix's most affordable £4.99-a-month plan is a 'great deal', with 'hardly any ads' according to users. While the cheap price tag had originally put off many subscribers due to the inclusion of adverts, many have been pleasantly surprised by the lack thereof.
Even Fiona found the plan more thrifty than the ad-free version, costing at £10.99 monthly: "I changed to this plan which is much cheaper than the £10.99 for ad free. Adverts are short so it's worth changing." Barry wrote: "Well I was paying £18 a month and reduced it to have very little adverts and saved me a lot of money over a year."Martyn commented: "There isn't even a fivers worth of interesting things to watch."
The Basic plan isn't available anymore for new or returning members. If you're on the Basic plan now, you can stay on it until you change your plan or cancel your account.
