Netflix's upcoming AdamSandler movie 'Hubie Halloween' is slated to start shooting this weekend
As Hollywood attempts re-start production after the widespread COVID shutdown, one Netflix film has solidified plans to shoot in Los Angeles this coming weekend.is slated to shoot a day of pick-ups on Saturday, July 11. According to a source, the scenes center on Julie Bowen, who stars in the comedy film along with Sandler, Kevin James, Maya Rudolph, Ray Liotta, Steve Buscemi, Rob Schneider, Michael Chiklis and Kenan Thompson.
An insider says the small production team all got COVID tests done yesterday, on Monday, July 6, and were told to quarantine for the rest of the week until Saturday's shoot. The filming is cleared to take place as kCalifornia Governor Gavin Newsom gave the green light to the entertainment industry to start up production again on June 12.
California, however, has pulled back on some of its recent re-openings, including bars, restaurants and other indoor businesses, as the state and specifically Los Angeles have seen a new surge in COVID cases.
