White evangelical support for Trump reached an all-time high last April, when a PRRI survey found that 75 percent of those in the category held a favorable view of the president, while just 22 percent held an unfavorable view of him.Among registered voters nationally, the new poll on Monday showed that Trump's approval rating reached a new high at 44 percent. However, 52 percent of voters said they disapproved of his performance in the White House.
