Brentford are in Premier League action against Chelsea
Brentford star Neal Maupay was booked whilst warming up on the touchline against Chelsea.Heading into the match, Brentford knew a victory would be enough for them to overtake Chelsea in the Premier League table.
During the first half, Mauricio Pochettino’s men were dominant from start to finish but failed to break through the stubborn Brentford defence.In the second half, after a free-kick was awarded to Chelsea by referee Simon Hooper, a yellow card was shown to Maupay. Despite not being on the pitch, the Frenchman was shown a yellow card after he touched the ball whilst doing his warm up routine. You can watch the incident below.With 76 minutes on the clock, Brentford boss Thomas Frank subbed on Maupay, who will be walking a fine line for the rest of the match after his needless booking.
