The ownership group of the Oakland Roots men’s soccer team and Oakland Soul women’s pro team added more than 4,500 new members since launching its Community Investment Round on September 13. To date, just under $2.7 million has been raised, the most in the history of American sports. This investment round ends on Oct. 31.
