The coach operator will also run an 'enhanced service; between central Manchester and Manchester Airport ahead of the school holidays
National Express has announced a faster coach service between Manchester and London with journey times reduced by up to 30 minutes on its 540 coach service. Fares for the inter-city service start from £15.90 - less than half the cost of a train ticket.
Ahead of the summer holidays, the coach operator is also enhancing its Trans Pennine coach network with services to and from central Manchester and Manchester Airport. From Friday 17th May an enhanced 170 service between Manchester, Manchester Airport, Liverpool and Leeds will begin, while also introducing Warrington to the network.
Customers will benefit from the reintroduction of locally available journeys across this key travel corridor, in particular between central Manchester and Manchester Airport. From the same date, the 171 service between Manchester, Liverpool, Bradford and Leeds will also see the same enhancements.
