Two-weight world champion Natasha Jonas has made history by obtaining a boxing manager licence
‘Miss GB’ was named British Boxer of the Year in 2022 after a trio of wins saw her unify three belts at super-welterweight. This year, Jonas dropped down to welterweight and stopped Kandi Wyatt in July to take the IBF crown, adding to the 39-year-old’s legacy in the sport.
It has been announced that Jonas is the first black British female to obtain a manager’s licence from the British Boxing Board of Control. “That being said, one thing I do like about being first is that it makes you part of history and nobody can take that away from you.” "I've got big hopes for him , he's got a successful and established amateur career, so I will try and guide him through that and make him a champion,” Jonas told Sky Sports. “He has visions of what he wants to become and we have a vision of where we want him to be.
