Poteat’s office told NJ Advance Media that he could not comment on a personnel matter. And Lewellen, a 42-year-old teacher of 10 years who earned $66,000 annually, according to pension records, declined repeated requests for comment. In a recording obtained by NJ Advance Media, for at least 2 minutes, Lewellen went on an expletive-laden tirade using the f-word multiple times.
“You done already lost your game privileges, which actually gives you chances to earn extra credit, just ‘cause you’re trying to be funny. And then you’re taking that away from other people who actually care about their f****** grade in here. And that’s not OK.”
