When my daughter was 12, I stopped my sister from having contact with my children as she was telling my 12 year old, she
was abused, she wasnt loved and she needed to run away from home My sister has been no contact since then. A few weeks ago my daughter said she was staying with a friend and was taken by my sister 400 miles away. We called the police as we thought my daughter was a missing person untill we found out from her friends she had gone to England to live with my sister. I called the police, who were useless and said that there was nothing they could do. And social services wont do anything.
are you close to your daughter? Is there a reason why she would rather be in England with her auntie opposed to at home with family in Scotland? alternatively, you need to contact a family lawyer. Who can start proceedings for an emergency return of a child….court case usually happens very quickly. If the outcomes is ruled in your favour unless sister and daughter say there is abuse; or make accusations. I do think in that case, and given she’s 15 they will look at this also. As her opinion/voice will be taken into consideration given she’s 15.
