Paul Taylor vanished after leaving his home in Dumfries and Galloway last year.
Paul Taylor was last seen leaving his home in Annan , Dumfries and Galloway , shortly before midnight on October 17 last year. Two days later the 56-year-old's blue Vauxhall Corsa was found abandoned in Langwathby, Cumbria.
Police will be in the area for some time whilst officers continue with their work at the scene, and locals have been asked to avoid it to allow this work to continue.
