Accrington mum begs thief not to take her car as he speeds off with her passport and valuables inside
Kerry McDonald from Accrington witnessed the thieves drive off with her panther black Ford Focus from Duke Street in Clayton-le-Moors where the car was parked, across Whalley Road onto the carpark behind Zorba Takeaway.
“The realisation comes over me in waves at the moment. Even simple things like taking my children to Brownies has become a huge task. I think I’ve tried to emotionally detach myself from everything so I don’t breakdown.” The ordeal has put Kerry under a lot of stress and she is relying on others to take her children to school because the distance is too far to walk and she cannot afford bus fees. Kerry also has to walk to work or rely on the kindness of others for lifts.
