Scammers in Hertfordshire are putting up fake ULEZ signs that lead people to fraudulent payment sites, explicit content, or even play the Wombles theme song. Hertfordshire County Council urges people not to access the QR codes on these signs and report them to take necessary action.
Motorists across Hertfordshire have been warned about fake ULEZ signs being put up by scammers - including ones that play the Wombles theme song.
Hertfordshire County Council does not permit any ULEZ signage within the county, and official Transport for London signage in London does not contain QR codes.
