Mother has admitted she put her infant in a bin bag and threw him off a balcony just hours after he was born.
A mother admitted to throwing her newborn son off a second-story balcony and killing him.Bowling was 21 years old when she gave birth to her son in December 2018. She put her crying infant in a trash bag and threw it over an apartment complex banister that was two floors up, the TV station reported., Kentucky, just hours after giving birth to him, according to authorities at the time.‘Baffles your mind thinking about who could have done this and why.
A neighbor at the complex, Paul Herd, said he was getting home from work when he saw a trash bag near the stairs to his unit on the second floor. He took the child into his home and called police, but the infant died shortly after. The infant boy was found bleeding from the brain with a cranial fracture and also suffered broken bones, according to Bowling’s arrest citation. The mother was charged with murder the next day.‘Why didn’t she take that child to the hospital and say, “I can’t raise it?” said Clay County Sheriff Angie Johnson. ‘There’s families waiting on these kids.’
