The Food Standards Agency has issued a recall alert over The Best Taleggio
The supermarket chain has been forced to recall The Best Taleggio as it was found to contain Listeria monocytogenes bacteria. According to the NHS website, Listeriosis is a rare infection caused by bacteria called listeria and if consumed, people could then experience high temperatures, muscle aches or pains, chills, feeling or being sick and diarrhoea.
The product affected by the recall is 200g and has the best before date of April 14, 2024. The Best Taleggio retails at £3.29 in Morrisons stores.
