Morrisons overtakes Tesco as 'priciest supermarket' as shoppers left 'shocked' at price hikes
Morrisons has found itself reclaiming its title as the "most expensive" supermarket for groceries - just a week after it was overtaken by Tesco.
The only time that the supermarket chain has not been named as the priciest option was last week, which saw Tesco take the title after Morrisons reduced the cost of two products. It was found that a 300g pack of chicken increased by 10p to £2.59 from £2.49 - which is the highest price that you would pay at any of the other supermarkets.
