Anchorage is continuing to dig out from the storm that dropped a foot of snow or more in some areas. State and city plow operators are working on clearing main and arterial roads today, and the muni said residential street plowing would start Thursday.

Driving conditions on much of the Seward, Glenn and Parks highways were described as difficult on Wednesday by theCrews on Wednesday were prioritizing plowing on main roadways, including the Seward Highway from Girdwood to Anchorage, the Glenn Highway from Anchorage to the Knik River and Minnesota Drive, said Justin Shelby the Administrative Operations Manager for the central region.
