The fight to hold apartment complex owners in Montgomery accountable continues.MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The city of Montgomery continues to crack down on apartments with poor living conditions.
Councilman Oronde Mitchell said there have been 10 apartment complexes to go before the council for review, with the council taking legal action against Brentwood Estates, Woodley Oaks and Woodley Terrace. Mitchell added the end goal is to have apartment owners see the property before they buy it and work to make sure conditions are livable for tenants.
