In each moped mugging, the bandits targeted women for their cellphones.
Police are searching for a pair of moped-riding bandits accused of mugging at least three women walking in Manhattan and the Bronx, stealing their cell phones and keys.
In some of the images, the wanted men are seen wearing white tank tops and shielding their faces. In one photo, the face of the driver riding shirtless is visible. Having failed to steal the device, the thief snatched the keys that were in the victim’s hand instead, before speeding away.
