But the fact that her court hearings on a child endangerment charge were kicked down the road four years until after Bowie’s trial was finished, means her testimony was being evaluated at some level. Bowie insisted he was trying to save the boy. He sat through a four-week trial that ended with a not-guilty verdict, his release from jail, and a “Glory be to God,” but otherwise, no-comment from lead prosecutor Tim Barker.
