Miriam Margolyes told Harry Potter fans she's 'worried about them'
Harry Potter star Miriam Margolyes has lashed out at fans of the JK Rowling fantasy series after being asked to help someone fulfil a request for their wedding.
Today, though, the star took aim at Harry Potter fans, telling them to 'move on', despite the news that HBO Max is working on a new TV series based around Hogwarts.Speaking to New Zealand TV channel 1News, Miriam was asked about Harry Potter and possible future involvement in the series. Miriam said: "It's over. I worry about Harry Potter fans because they should be over that by now. It was 25 years ago and it's for children.
Miriam is widely known for her roles in Martin Scorsese's The Age of Innocence and BBC series Call the Midwife. Before her film acting debut in 1969, Miriam started her career as a voice artist and recorded a soft-porn audio called Sexy Sonia: Leaves from my Schoolgirl Notebook.
