On Saturday morning, police issued a statement saying someone had been taken to hospital following the collision. A spokeswoman said: "Police are appealing for information following a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Main Street in Millisle at approximately 4.
55pm yesterday, Friday 3rd November. "One person was taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries. "Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have CCTV, dash-cam or other footage that could assist with the investigation is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1207 of 03/11/23."
