A millionaire restaurateur is said to have been stabbed to death by her grandson after she aired her concerns about his cannabis use.

Sue Addis, who owned Donatello’s Italian in Brighton, was found dead lying in her blood-stained bathtub at her home in Cedar Gardens in Withdean.Her grandson, Pietro Addis, who was 17 at the time of the brutal attack in January 2021, is accused of her murder. The jury was told he was regularly smoking one or two cannabis joints an evening, three or four times a week.
