Aaron London’s Michelin-starred restaurant, AL’s Place, is set to close this month after nearly eight years in the Mission District., where he thanked his longtime customers and devoted staff, whom he credited as the force behind the business. The restaurant’s last service day is Aug. 28.
In a statement shared with guests and SFGATE, London said that his decision to close was “not made lightly” and shared that AL’s Place was the first restaurant where he felt he could “express my culinary voice.” Moreover, he shared that he looks forward to spending much-needed time with his family.
