Florida snagged a spot in the Men's College World Series final after a clutch, game-ending catch by outfielder Michael Robertson.
The 3-2 win over TCU on Wednesday sends the Gators to their first MCWS finals since 2017, when they won the national championship. They will play the winner of No. 1 seed Wake Forest vs. LSU in a best-of-three series starting Saturday. The play happened with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. Down to his final strike, Horned Frogs' infielder Brayden Taylor hit a deep fly ball into center field. Robertsontracked the ball and crashed into the outfield wall to make the catch, ending TCU's season and sending Florida to its fourth final all-time.
