Michael Owen admits fear of seeing daughter Gemma kissing and sharing bed on Love Island
Michael Owen has broken his silence on his daughter Gemma appearing on the hit ITV dating programme Love Island nearly one week after her entrance.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, he expressed his frustration at seeing his daughter sharing a bed with Italian Stallion Davide Saclimenti, 27, as he shared: "It’s not something any father wants to watch, is it?" Despite his annoyance over the bed-sharing situation, Michael confessed that he's quite lucky as Gemma didn't make "physical contact" with Davide in bed as she "had her back to the guy".
"I didn’t know anything about the show, but the worry was that she’d have to kiss this lad and that lad and the next," he explained. "I was away so didn’t see the first episode, but her mum told me there was a possibility she’d have to do a dance – a lap dance or something – which Gemma would have been uncomfortable about. But I guess the longer she is in, the more relaxed she will be about that sort of thing.
