Rangers star has been playing through the pain barrier after recent injury woe
Ross McCausland's "complex" injury situation has been the topic for discussion between Rangers' boss Philippe Clement and Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill.
Speaking ahead of the friendly clash at Hampden, O'Neill said McCausland's injury is not easy to understand. O'Neill revealed he has already talked to Clement, who he thinks didn't plan to use McCausland in the Benfica game reports the Daily Record. He explained: "I don't think it's particularly serious. It's a little bit complex from my understanding from the medical team. He was optimistic, but he has played with pain since he had the initial challenge and the injury.
