NFL star and Harrisburg native, Micah Parsons was back in his hometown on Monday looing to make a positive community impact.
After playing football for the Harrisburg High School Cougars, Parsons went on to become an all-American linebacker at Penn State.He said growing up in Harrisburg, some of the greatest advice he ever received was to not take the easy way out in anything he did. After a slew of deadly shootings to start the summer, Parsons’ said the most important thing is for community kids to have a role model, which is what he would like to be for them.
