Messages sent by PC David Seager were 'highly offensive racist and misogynistic' a hearing finds.

A police officer who sent "highly offensive racist and misogynistic" texts to a woman has been sacked.

He already had a final written warning in place due to sexually inappropriate comments to three female colleagues. He added: "PC Seager has been rightly dismissed. The Commissioner has been clear that we remove anyone from the organisation who falls below the high standards we must uphold."
