Met Office weather map shows snow sweeping across region later this week
A weather map has shown how snow will sweep Greater Manchester this week, as temperatures are set to drop to below freezing.

For Greater Manchester, the bulk of the white stuff is expected to fall on Thursday morning.According to the map, snow will fall in Wigan, Bolton, Bury and Rochdale as of 9am on Thursday. Wigan and Bolton will see more than 4mm of snowfall per hour.
