Temperatures will rise significantly over the start of the weekend
Brits living further down south will be treated to the best weather conditions while those further up north will see milder temperatures. However, while conditions will be a lot hotter in the coming days, it does not constitute a true heatwave, according to the Met Office.
Meanwhile, other areas will see relatively high conditions, with London recording 18C and Rochester seeing 19C. These high temperatures will only remain today for a couple of hours, with some areas dropping slightly as the evening approaches. On Friday, April 12, temperatures will rise yet again, with Ipswich seeing 20C conditions at around 4pm. Meanwhile, surrounding areas will remain relatively high at 18C and 19C respectively.
