Met Office weather warning as freezing fog forecast to hit north west this weekend
The Met Office has warned that 'freezing fog' could cause travel delays tonight and tomorrow morning . Freezing fog is made of water droplets that freeze on contact with objects such as the pavement, road or car.
"Additionally, freezing fog may lead to some untreated surfaces becoming slippery. Western England is more likely to see freezing fog persist into late morning and in a few places into the afternoon."
