The Valley hair care startup has brought in more than $10 million in funding since its inception. Phoenix

Dae Hair, a Mesa-based premium hair care products startup, has brought in an $8 million series A funding raise that its founder says will accelerate its next stage of growth.

Dae Hair President Jenny Son said the funding infusion will be used to boost hiring and increase marketing efforts. A company spokesperson said Dae Hair currently has nine employees, with plans to double that headcount in 2023.Tina Bou-Saba, of Verity Venture Partners, said the firm made the investment due to Dae Hair's brand strength, founder dedication and its highly-engaged customer base.
